Chhavi Rajawat, India’s first MBA Sarpanch, served two terms as the elected head of Soda village in Tonk, Rajasthan. An alumna of Lady Shri Ram College and Harvard Kennedy School, she’s an Aspen Fellow and Young Global Leader with the World Economic Forum. Chhavi has been honored with national awards like the CNN-IBN Young Indian Leader and the First Ladies Award. She transformed Soda through sustainable rural development, bringing water to drought areas, promoting women’s empowerment, education, sanitation and transparency and continues strengthening education and farming practices as Director of Eminent Girls College, Soda.
